Script Programming

To accommodate automated and unattended operations it is designed for, Robo-FTP provides a powerful script language. See Script Language Features.

Script files can be executed directly from a Robo-FTP shortcut on the desktop or selected interactively while Robo-FTP is running.

Script files are produced with the Robo-FTP Script File Wizard or manually using an ASCII text editor or word processor. Robo-FTP has toolbar buttons to launch the wizard and to launch the Robo-EDIT Script File Editor (or your editor of choice) for these purposes. Unless otherwise specified, script files are assumed to have an extension of .s.
